Greg Brashears
Greg Brashears is the founder and executive director of Life College. Greg founded Life College after his daughter, Katherine, graduated from high school in 2011 without any resources to transition to adulthood. By 2014 Life College was opened and accepting students. Greg retired from UPS after a 35-year career in areas of Industrial Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain Management, he has an MBA from Pepperdine University, and a BS Industrial Management from Texas Tech University. In his free time Greg enjoys traveling, golf and spending time with his 8 grandchildren.
Joyce Arntson-Morris
​Joyce Arntson-Morris taught business and computer information science in high schools and colleges for 33 years, and during her tenure as a college professor she wrote over 30 textbooks. From 2000-2010, Joyce opened 23 Early College High Schools throughout California that were funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. As a co-founder of Life College, Joyce’s experience in education was instrumental with forming curriculum and teacher training. In addition to her presidency of Life College, Joyce is also a Licensed Sales Agent at Keller Williams OC Coastal Realty where she helps families with their real estate needs.
Damon Shelly
​Damon Shelly is a founding board member of Life College and the proud owner of Shelly Automotive Group. Founded in 1990 with Shelly BMW, the group has now grown to include Mercedes-Benz of Long Beach, Sprinter of Long Beach, Irvine BMW, Lexus of Riverside, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Orange County, Bill Wright Toyota and North Bakersfield Toyota. Since 1990, Damon’s passion for the automotive industry, desire to shape the lives of his many employees, and commitment to his community have resulted in one of the most successful automotive groups in Southern California. As a founding board member, Damon created a partnership with Life College and his dealerships, providing internship and employment opportunities for Life College students. Damon continues to grow the Shelly Automotive Group, and also continues his devotion to countless philanthropic ventures.
Bob Holmen
As a founding board member for Life College, Bob Holmen provided legal and financial guidance to Life College over the years, including forming the non-profit and securing non-profit status. Bob has over 25 years’ experience working in and advising technology, healthcare and financial services companies and investment funds. He also provides legal and financial consulting services to investors and venture funds through his firm, Investor Counsel. Bob joined the Life College effort at the request of the founder, Greg Brashears. They both saw the need for post-secondary college options for adults who learn differently, and when Greg determined to be part of the solution, Bob was very happy to support his efforts alongside fellow founding Board members Joyce and Damon.
Cathleen Greiner
Cathleen Greener is the Director of Education and Social Entrepreneurship at North Orange County Community College District. Cathleen focuses is on strengthening collaboration between employers and education, especially in the California Community Colleges and with Universities and K12 systems in OC. She is active on several boards focusing on the transitioning economy, career education, venture capital and entrepreneurship, and emerging learning trends. As a board member of Life College, Cathleen has been instrumental in assisting with programming and community partnerships.
Craig Feltman
Craig Feltman is the president and founder of Feltman Agency which was founded in September of 2007. Feltman Agency is a full-service agency with a focus on digital marketing, with clients that include Irvine BMW, Lexus of Riverside, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Orange County, DCH Tustin Acura, Honda of Downtown LA, and more. Craig became involved with Life College in 2014 when he was asked to consult on the organization’s marketing. Shortly after that, Craig joined the board and has continued to help the organization in all of their marketing efforts.
Nasir Javed
Nasir Javed has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA is Business strategy. He has focused his career in solving global issues through social entrepreneurship as an entrepreneur, founder and CEO. Nasir is an active member in the community, serving on numerous civic and professional boards and works with youth and mentorship programs. Nasir also helps startups for job creation, quality of life and economic growth. Nasir has always had a passion for helping the special needs community and joined the Life College board in 2018. Since joining the board, he has focused on Finding creative solutions to issues faced by young adults with special needs and raising funds in order to help Life College grow and serve more community members.
